The Story: Choosing the right name for an art piece matters. It tells a story, evokes an emotion. But what story would I tell? Would I speak to the majestic snow-capped mountains or the powerful sunlight beaming across the canvas? A name describing either of these things would be most fitting. Yet as I stood on the cliff’s edge, overlooking the valley, I could not help but remember the mighty elephants that once roamed these parts. Yes, I would speak to the elephants.
Explore the mountains with your eyes, allow the light to instill a response, but above all, imagine the herds, and you will see “Where the Elephants Roamed” truly come to life.
